I've always wanted a vent because that seems like the BEST way to get the air directly to the filter but they're so expensive haha.

I don't think I notice anything different but I am sure the air is cleaner and cooler than it was before and that has to be a good thing.

Love it! I have the Comptech Intake on the way! I was also thinking if the AUT would work well with the Comptech. I think regardless it would let colder air into the same side as the Comptech. Can't decide.

Where did you get the AUT Plate from, and how much if you don't mind me asking? I think the AUT plate would look even better with the PWJDM washers!

Just a quick question... how do you remove K&N Air Filter...? There's this black plastic thingy on the left side and it seems like without taking off the whole intake out, there's no way to just take the filter out.

Any easier way to do this? cuz I think it's about time I clean my filter.

I have not removed mine but I do need to clean it soon so if you find a trick let me know.

I got the AUT second hand from Wyatt. Here is a link to a company that sells them and this is the cheapest I Have seen. I paid slightly less than this.

Cool thanks for the link. Any hood rubbing issues with the AUT?

None. Fits like a glove. I really like it, and of course my car is twice as fast as it was before... ;-)

Actually I had put some foam around the K&N box to see if I could seal off that area a bit better but am removing that as it pushes my hood up.

JDM Auto does seem to have a good price on the AUT. Mine fits nicely too!

That might explain all that ugly black tape stuck on the side of your intake.
