Good value, but it doesn't sound like it's an event for beginners.
It was actually my first event last year, when I was still driving an Audi.
An S2000 won the event last year and showed me what the car could do.
So I went out and bought one.

True story.

Cool , hopefully I can sign up. Hopefully a silencer will help my car reduce the noise.

LAst year's winning car was Mavm86's car. I think he and his co-driver will be one of the top contenders again.

I think it is for 2 tickets to the banquet sunday night.

As for the friday test and tune, it is $2 per run. Run as much as you like, at $2 a pop.

As for the saturday and sunday autoX, the saturday and sunday will be 2 different but similar courses. Saturday will be a best of 3 or 4 runs and so is sunday. Then your combined times will be compared to the other drivers and the top 20 will go on to the bonus round as well as 20 random people.

The bonus round starts off with 40 people, then it is best of 20, then best of 10, best of 5 and then you find out who the winner will be.

Oh yeah, I should be there too.
So does it mean we get to do test runs on friday for Sat's course layout?

I actually can't make it this year, I'm away that weekend.

That said, my car and co-driver will be there, so I would expect to see him do well.

For those who are thinking of doing this, it is a fantastic 3 days, lots of fun, great food, great people, and an incredible value. It kills me that I can't be there this year.

Guess I'll sign up, hoping my silencer will do the job.
