Default Used car extended warranty

hi all

i have just purchased a used 2006 s2000, and it still has about 8months of warranty on it.

will you guys suggest to buy the "extended warranty"? it's about $1700 for 4years....

IMO, if you are mechanically challenged it's a good idea to get extended just in case. You really shouldn't have any problems AT ALL for 60k km's though.

I think the only maintenance required up to that mileage is just fluids, filters and tires (which aren't covered for warranty).

Warranty is the best way to milk the money out of your pocket. Unless the dealership has an excellent service, which is unlikely, I wouldn't pay shit to them.

i dind't get the extended warranty

i'm pretty new to s2000, what do you guys use to clean the soft top?

i see on the forum people recommend the 303 product any chance you guys know where i can buy that local? i tried canadian tire

Wash with car wash soap and brush. Treat with 303. Although not at every wash.

Canadian Tire does indeed sell 303.

You can get 303 products in Canadian tire and Lordco.

I've heard nothing but great things about 303 I haven't had the chance to try it out. Maybe after my Raggtop runs out I will.

how about waxing? which products do you guys use? i have a yellow s2000.

for interior, excpet vacumming what other things do you guys do?
