Hey everyone, I'm planning a weekend trip to the BC area on August 12th with several buddies of mine (non-s2k owners). We're renting a car to drive from Portland to BC but I'm seriously thinking about taking my S on this trip. I'm still deciding on this option. Maybe you guys can give me some feedback.

I wanted to know if the BC area will be safe for my S. A buddy of mine recently went to the Chinatown area and saw a row of cars with windows smashed into. This is my biggest concern.

Maybe we can have a meet and have some of Vancouver's famous Dim Sum!

Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

The Chinatown area is located right next to skid row. Most areas in Vancouver are safe. I have had my S for 4 years and have never had a problem -- but then again, I don't hang out in the skid row area.
