Annual Mt Baker Run put on by Vancouver Group
Details:
When: Saturday June 23rd.
Where: Mt. Baker
Meetup time & location: 6:300am at Ironwood Plaza (5 Road at Steveston Hwy), in front of McDonald's.
Departure time is 7:00am sharp! (as usual, we'll start off with a tunnel run
- before it gets decommissioned).
We'll cross at Pacific Highway Truck Crossing and gas up. We'll then head to Sunset Square to meet up with our PNW bros, hopefully we'll get there around 9am. Beginning at rougly 9:30~9:45 we will start heading up Mt baker but in small groups as we did last year. It seemed to work out much better vs a large train. Groups of 10-15 with spacing of 5-10 min, let's not be the last group to get onto the mountain this year!
*NOTE drive according to conditions at your own risk. We are not responsible for any actions by those attending the event.
Discovery passes, we never got hassled last time but be prepared to pay if something goes South. Roughly $10 for the day.
Last thing, Artist Point may still be closed so let's plan to meet at Heather Meadows at the far end of the lot.
