So I've been slowly picking away at my other project for the last 6-7 years. I finally heard it turn over and run for the first time with the new supercharger.
Since I'm so excited I felt like sharing some photos and the start-up video.
1991 VW Corrado - Build "Highlights"
- Shaved bay
- Lysholm Supercharger with small pulley (53mm).
- FMIC + other supporting mods (Stage 4 chip, injectors, FPR)
- H&R Coilovers w/ 15x8 and 15x9 BBS RMs
- Removed everything possible: A/C delete, P/S delete, converted to non-ABS, Modified Honda radiator so I could hide coolant overflow bottle, shaved intake manifold with all ports now on the rear.
- Wiring harness made from scratch and ran through fenders.
- etc. etc.











Future mods will include:
- Widened/pulled (undecided) rear fenders so it can be lowered nicely.
- Repaint (7 years of storage, most of which was at a full-time shop, did a number on it in terms of dings/scratches etc.
- Possible silencer kit for S/C.. It's loud. I don't think this will change the overall loudness though, mostly just at idle so it probably won't be worth the effort.

I've been so out of touch with Volkswagen land for so long but I believe people were using the high beam housing in the headlight. It wouldn't surprise me if people just didn't use signals I, however, like my cars as legal as possible (for the most part).
I'm running blacked out motorcycle signals behind the grill (or that's the plan right now).
