Hey guys, not much action happening on Vancouver Island so it seems. I'm new to S2KI and would like to join a meet and go for a drive! I just did Lake Cowichan to Port Renfrew and back and felt as if the S2000 was born for that road unless you get stuck behind a slow poke. However, it's an excuse to redline and kick up some dust . I already posted in the Intro section and Vancouver Island sections introducing myself incase you wanted to know who I was. Looking forward to meeting like minded people!

Welcome to the forum! Next season you, and some of the other VI owners, should come over to the mainland and join us for one of our June drives (usually less vacationers)!

I would love to join one of your drives, to bad June just passed. I'll keep monitoring the forums for any future drives on the mainland and VI. To bad the ferries are so damn expensive, but I would be up for a drive if one occurred in the next month or two while the nice weather lasts. Thanks for the welcome.

Hey PilotmanS2K, Dave here from the Island. I will add you to the list of island owners. We do that Pacific Marine Circle at least twice a year, but ya the island has kind of slowed down a bit. There is a Poker Run coming up in August, which will take the Pacific Marine Circle, proceeds going to Camp Shawnigan.

I used to be the organizer for this. I started it 9 years ago and last year turned it over to Tattney and Marc Tarr. Here is the link. This is an excellent charity event.
