02-05 S2000- mild mods
Hello all-
looking for a 02-05 S2000 - prefer mileage below 80 ish k
prefer silverstone, red and black interior but would take all black...
mildy modified- prefer functional mods or track prep
Located in Texas but willing to go to either end of the US for the right setup/deal
Send me what you got!
My budget is 15k and would love to spend less, but will pay more for cleaner examples.
Thanks
Casey

'02 -'05 covers two distinct generations of the S2000. Different engines and gearboxes, and body styling and wheels.
Have fun but I recommend you go slow. Too many of us think we know about "functional changes" but what's functional for one guy ain't for the other. Stuff like "coil overs" is best for specific tracks, not general driving. The time when these were competitive race cars is long over unless you have massive amounts of money and time. Still competent street and back roads machines if you work your way into them incrementally. Too many changes at one time don't let you sort things out. I've personally restricted myself to intake, exhaust, at least Max summer tires, and (since I didn't limit myself to 2005 and earlier cars) a Gernby FlashPro tune with a 3600 VTEC engagement.

is a 2001 but has the engine updates which were weak in 2001 and below. Upgraded AP2 intake retainers and oil jet bolts.
for the right price can also set you up with a JRZ Motorsport single adjustable coilovers, 75mm exhaust single, chassis mounted wing with extra bumper

Lets see-
Engine-intake, header, engine management, HFC or test pipe, cat back exhaust, radiator upgrade, TCT, ap2 valve retainers (if ap1)
suspension- coilovers, toe arms, ball joints, diff/tranny reinforcements or collars
roll bar and fixed back seats, harnesses
hard top- preferred
Iffy on wings
Basically I'm not lookin for ultra JDM or to "break necks" I really just want a clean car but but well sorted mods are interesting to me
