Receiving PM's soliticing sales - SCAM
 

We've recently had a flurry of people receiving pm's from guests trying to solicit sales from WTB ads. As we cannot control who signs up as a guest (or a member) please use common sense in responding to these requests, especially when they are asking for you to email them.

Be mindful and do some research, always check into the persons post history to see if they are active on the forum, and more importantly active in a local community.

As always, please do not be afraid to hit the "Report" button or to PM a moderator. I do not want to imply that Guests here are bad (we've had issues with Members too) so please research and ask questions before you send someone your money.

I will leave this open so we can add names to this thread.

Do not send money via Western Union - this is a scam!

If you receive a pm from someone saying to email”bob” at “bobscammer@gmail.com” this is a scam. Don’t fall for it.

I'm sure you guys have probably already thought of it but is it possible to block guests from accessing the for sale/wtb threads before having a certain amount of posts?

That ass clown hit me up as well regarding a Gears lip for sale.

He ignored me as soon as I asked him for pics with proof.
