Default 10 inch wide AP2V2s

So, I have owned my car for over a year now and have yet to really "fall in love" with any wheels. I like the BBS LMs and the CCW Classics. I will likely pick up a set someday. There is a Rio yellow AP2 on here with painted V2s that look really good, I am planning on going that route, but a lighter grey, more like a dark silver.

With that said, I am running 500+ whp on my setup and have had some traction issues with my 255 Azenis, even in fourth gear. Im not looking for something to drag race with, just something that will hook better. I bought some 275-40-17 Nitto NT01Rs. They are a road race tire, to keep good handling, but also have a 100 tread wear rating. Should be pretty sticky. I will check back after I road test it as it is too wet here too beat on it.

I purchased a spare pair of rear AP2V2s and sent them in to a company called WeldCraft. They seem to be pretty reputable. Wheels came back today and look great. Added 1.5in to a total width of 10in. Wheels balance out great, and have very little to no run out.

After getting them on the car, I think I could have gone about .5 in wider and ran a 315. Thing is its just getting too tall of a tire. Looks good, and as long as it hooks, it was well worth it.

Heres the pics, enjoy them.

Oh and the subtitle, I had asked Jim some questions on the set up and was told it would not fit. It fits fine and I have no rubbing. I have room to spare inside and they fit flush with 20mm spacers. Sometimes you just have to experiment, and test fit things for yourself. It came out just fine. Only thing I wish was I would have gone wider!

Weldcraft charges around 200 a wheel to do the widening. They do good work.
