Default 16x8+20

So I got the itch to change up how I ride in the winter and I ran across a deal on xxr521s for cheap and they are 16x8+20 all around, they look pretty good but I don't know how they will fare against the evil s2k fenders.

Anyone tried to fit such a odd size on an s and is it even possible, I have my rears rolled and tab relocated.

Fitment gurus Plz chime in

+20 is too low of an offset to run a 225/50 and be dropped. u could possibly fit them and still have function with u roll/pull fenders and dont go too low.

I like how the fenders are evil... but not the wheels you bought (or are considering).
I want to change the wheels I roll in the winter also, but I'm considering stock wheels for the job.

Just because they are cheap doesn't mean they are good to get though. Consider where the edge of the wheel will sit compared to the OEM AP2 17x7 +55...it is an 8" wheel so it will automatically be 1 inch/2 closer to the fender, which means roughly 13 mm. Then it is 20 offset compared to 55, which means 35 mm outward. So overall, the edge of the wheel sits 48 mm further out than the stock AP2. 2 inches is 51mm, so the front wheel will sit out almost two inches in comparison to stock. For reference, the AP2 wheel with a 15mm spacer is pretty flush, and 25mm really push it in relationship to rubbing the fender. A stock wheel with a 48 mm spacer would surely look ridiculous and rub. I know there is some young buck who will say "That's doable" but by doable they mean run a 195 tire and -4.5 camber, not to mention roll your fenders to the point of looking like they were rolled by Hulk's fingers. Keep looking.

totally understand the logic behind "just cuz its cheap" but if it means i have to butcher my S to make it work then its not worth it. im not a stance whore by no means. i would just like to run something more aggressive for the winter.

how would maxybe 16x7 +45 f and 16x8+50r sound? judging by my very little knowledge of offset fitment i would say its high enough to clear my rolled rear fenders right?
