What's the difference between the 6UL and 6ULR?

 

Do you have any more photos of this newer model?? Can't seem to find them anywhere.

 

6ULR discontinued in 2010, visually different than our current wheels. 6ULR does not exist, hasn't for several years.

I am not sure what you are asking The 6UL is the wheel pictured in this thread, our website, our dealers website and a google search.

The 6UL has been in production since 2006, same basic design visually although the manufacturing process has changed. It is not a new model. We just added a size for S2000's.

 

No, I can find plenty of 6UL wheels all over the web. I just can't find more than 5 pictures of these new version 17's aside from the ones you've taken.

 

Ah, that is because they just began shipping about two weeks ago. There are probably 30 pics floating around, dealers websites, blogs, forums and facebook.
We'll start to see more as owners get them installed and share images. For now, we have a very clear image of each wheel by itself on ours and dealers websites. You are probably waiting to see what they look like on an S2000 in your favorite color combo. So are we

 

that is exactly what I'm waiting for! I'd love to see +55 up front and +48 in the rear x9.

 

Anyone have pictures of these mounted yet? Would love to see a few more angles and colors?

 

Am I the only one who wants OE fitment and doesn't want to run absurd alignment angles and rub everywhere I go just to get some decent looking wheels on my car? If your going to manufacture a product wouldn't you first make it a true bolt on piece with no mods necessary first and then make a set of +20 wheels for those who wish to drive their car around looking like it's broken? C'mon. Sad you can count on one hand or less the wheels that have proper fitment half of which are crazy expensive options. Maybe if we made them in America we could build them like we want instead of compromising with China and their tooling.

 

Um, you might be confusing the 17x9 +55 6UL with some other lower offset wheel like perhaps an Enkei 17x9 +45? To fit a 255/40 with enough camber for the tire to work well requires an offset between +55 and +63. That is a small 8mm window. Depending on how one chooses to set up their S2000, they might want a +63 , +60 or +55.

FWIW, we designed these from scratch and we own the tooling. Not limited by anything.
