Default 17" SSR TypeC offset question

I almost get a set of 17X8.5 and 17X9.5 SSR type C wheels until I see the offset are +42 all around. Im abit worry about the offset. the car is on stock suspension now, but im also planning to get BC RS coilover. are these wheels will fit the car ok? if so, what width tires i should get from front and rear?

TIA

I'd look elsewhere for wheels. Both the front and back are going to be a problem becausee of their wide width and low offset.

They are available with a +65 offset in Japan.

Tirerack carries them in these sizes in offsets for the s2k

17x7.5 +49
17x8 +48
17x9 +55
17x9.5 +65

The wheels you were looking at were obviously for a different car.

He's asking about SSR type-C not SSR competition, meaning you can't purchase them at TireRack.

SSR type-C comes in solid colors only, where as the competition only comes in that anthracite with polished lip finish.

Keep searching, as there are a ton of fitments out there for you; just gotta be patient.

Tirerack has the Type-C RS. Not sure what the difference is; It looks identical to the Type-C to me.
