I came across this set of rims and am very interested, but can 17X7 fits 225+ tires??

Moving to Wheel/tire forum.

You will need to post what the backspacing/offset, and bolt pattern of the wheel is to see if they will even fit on the car.

17 X 7, 42 offset, 5 X 100 and 5 X 114.3

You would have to run 205/50R17 front and 225/45R17 rear to make this work.

nothing beyond 225 correct?

anyone? is 225 the biggest I could go on these rims??

yes 225 is the most you can put on 7" width
