Default 18x9.5 +55 tires

I have some staggered ssr's on the way. I want to go with the hankook ventus v12 evo k110s.

Front are 18x8 +49. Already know the ideal choice is 225/40. But I want some more opinions on the rears. 18x9.5 +55 and i'm unsure if hankook's 255/35 or 265/35 would be the better choice? The car's fenders are rolled and the rear bumper tab has been cut and moved. Also on tein s-techs so it sits a little lower than stock. Any guys running near this setup?

Thanks for any input

I would stay with the 255/35R18 with the 55 mm offset. I have had even the 255 rub without the fender lip roll. If I can help with the tires let me know.

I just installed some Pilot Super Sports on the rear on my S2K. I have BBS LM's rear size being 18x9.5 +55. The P265/35r18's rubbed pretty bad until I rolled the fender quite a bit. Then it just barely rubbed when weighted and hit a decent bump. I then installed a very small spring spacer that did not increase ride height, but keeps one of the coils from compressing all the way. No more rubbing at all. Hope this helps. By the way the 265's look sick and the car bites like a pit bull now coming out of corners.

I dont know how the sidewalls are on the Hankook's but i have the same wheels as you with the rear fenders rolled and I can run Dunlops DZ101 265/35 in the rear. If the Hankook's have angled (not straight) sidewalls like Dunlop's, then you should be able to fit 265s. Even with my set-up, I still have about 0.25" clearance- far from rubbing.

By the way, I'm lowered about 1.5" all around.

If I can help with the tires let me know. You can run more negative camber to give yourself more room as well.
