2001 rear wheels to the front?

I have a 2001 S2K and kinda like the stock wheels. However I hate that the front wheels are only 6.5" wide...it really limits the tire options. With the rear wheels being 7" I've contemplated getting rear wheels and putting them up front. Has anyone tried this? Or perhaps insight as to the feasibility of doing this( Such as, is the backspacing to far off to properly fit within the body lines)?

First : this is a "Wheels & Tires Forum" question.

Second : Honda designed the S2000 with wider wheels at the rear for a reason.

Third : the OEM rear wheels won't even fit at the front because the hub diameter is too small (64mm. with the front hub being 70mm.)

:hello:

I'll reiterate #2 - it is not worth upsetting the correct balance of the car for an aesthetic preference.

Regarding #3, you could have the rear wheels machined to accommodate the swap. AP1 wheels are inexpensive enough to make it worth doing, except for that pesky #2 problem.

The rear wheels will not fit on the front hubs.
