275 rears any one?

i've only had my s2k for about a year and i think its time it needs a new pear of shoes. Im wondering what the largest size tire i can fit in the rear woudl be.

im looking at the beloved enki rpf1's i believe the size is 17x8 +45 F and 17x9 +45 R

im considering putting Kuhmo MX 245/40/17s in the front and 275/40/17s in the rear.

i believe the DIA is the same from the stock wheel. can any one chime in or if anyone has any pics the large tires.

im on stock suspesion and willnot be lowering the car.

youre going to need to do alot of mods to fit those tire sizes...

really why?

i dont want to roll my fenders or anything, i just want more grip.

with that wide of a tire you would need a much higher offset... otherwise your wheel and tire will stick out alot and look like crap

i had a 275 on a 9.5 rim with a 63 offset at almost stock height and i still almost rubbed. i only had 2.0 camber at that time as well

this is my 265 width tire on a 9.5 in wide wheel with +55 offsett

18x10 +68 285/30/18 Fenders rolled, bumper bolts relocated. I wouldnt recommend going this route if you can live with 255 or 265. I was on
Buddyclub N+'s and had to go with Tein Flex because of the stiffer rear springs. Alot of headache and time. I love it now, but if I had known I probably would have just stuck with 255 or 265's.

Then dump the MX's. Get a better tire in a smaller size.

:iagree:

Those tires aren't very hard to clear, but they are too tall. Get a good 255 all around.
