Wide fenders and it might fit. Otherwise that guy is smoking something good. If you don't go too wide on the tires the rear may work with some fender rolling assuming you aren't too low. The front is going to be your biggest issue. A rim that wide will require a wide tire and the offsets are bad to start with.

Thats what i thought...I read that and thats what made me question it. I just really wanted a double check.

so with that chart ideal offset for 18x8 and 18x9.5 would be

F- +53 with a 225 tire
R- +60 with a 275 tire

is that correct? i just wanna make sure im reading it right

That is correct at stock height. Lower it too much and you may want to add some additional backspacing or plan on adding additional camber or rolling your fenders.

+53 with a 225 would be fine
you may want to look for something more in the ball park of +65 in the rear if you are going with a 275 tire.

You will need higher offsets if you want to go lower.

People running a tire that wide have had to relocate a bumper bracket to get proper clearance. I have not used tires this wide on the S but you can find how to do it in some of the links below. Another thing to think about is that with a tire that wide your sidewall with be higher which will make the diameter of your tire higher than stock. This will cause your speedometer to be off. Some have fixed this with a "yellow box" or others are just aware of the change and live with it. Read up and use the search.

Read some of the links that come up on this search. You'll get an idea of what others are using and what offsets work at what height.

those offsets would work with maybe a 205 front, 225 rear which is not very good. im just telling you what tire sizes would work if you really wanted those rims

Those tire sizes would work with those offsets but not the rim widths. Please don't try to put a 205 tire a 8.5" tim or a 225 tire on a 9.5" rim. It is not safe.

18x9.5 +63 275-35-18 or should i stick with 265?

with a moderate drop

okay. Coming from personal experience, and me with a fellow s2ki member being entitled, "the wheel dork" on s2ks, Not everyone knows what they can or cannot do to make something work so they just follow the sticky about "proper wheel fitment" not knowing first hand. Although this is an agressive fitment, there are numerous of ways these can fit because from experience, we've done a 18x8.5, 18x9.5 +40 all around with no rubbing.

To make these bad boys fit, your best is to Roll your rear fenders and run a 245 stretched in the rear and a 215 stretch up front. If you are lowered, the car should already run negative camber as is, so the wheel and tire will tuck away from harms way. Running negative camber is always good for handling although you'll have premature tire wear. If your car is super dumped, then you'll have to relocate your rear bumper bolt, because the wheel might rub on it.

all though some people say it is "dangerous" to run stretch tire, thas bull to a certaint extent. I've seen as low as 215's on 9" wheels before and they drive perfectly fine. If that was the case, you'll see D1 Drifters/ Local Driters blowing out there tires all the time, but i've never even seen it happen. Running a stretched tire, or also known as "hipari" makes it have a stiffer side wall and reduces tire rollover. Thas why drifter's and some auto x'ers run stretch tires as a function over fashion ordeal.

All in all, this is an aggressive fitment to do but you should do some more researching into wheel fitment and see what's out there
