Default Advan RG-D question

Hey guys.. i had a question regarding the Advan RG-D's..

on a car lowered about 2 inches, would it require any fender modification? supposedly these are made specifically for s2000's and are very friendly offset-wise

17x8+54, 17x9+60 are the specs.

also, can i stretch my tires to fit on these? the size is 215/45/17... forgive me, but i am not too savvy with wheel specs, as this is my first S

thanks!

Ron

You should be fine with no fender mods with those sizes.

As for the tires the 215 will fit on the 8 with minor stretch. The 9 inch wheel is pushing it, I would go for a 245 or 255

thank you kryptonite.. i was worried only because the fact that is lowered a fair amount.. but i guess the offsets are large enough.. like i said, im still learning, but i appreciate the tip about the tires too. i will look into it.. I guess i just figured "stretching" the tire would mybe make it a little easier on the fenders, but i also dont want it to look ridiculous and have some function as well. lol

any other info is welcome also, as it seems these rims arent used often (unless i suck at searching) lol

215/45 is good for the front but you don't want that on the rear. 245/40 will easily fit a 9" +60 without any fender work and a 255/40 would probably be fine also.

Those are pretty much stock offsets (stock offset: Front +55, Rear +65). You can fit 225/45/17 in the front and 255/40/17 in the rear with no problems.
