Advan RGII 18x9 with +45 offset

Hello,

I recently purchased a set of Advan racing RGII 18"wheels and i have a rubbing problem on rear. The rears are 18x9 with +45 offset and 245/40/18 tyre. I had to alter the height of my suspension PSS9 about 2 fingers from the tyre and again was rubbing. Now i did the fender roll and i gave a bit of camber and it doesn't seem is rubbing but i haven't gone to a track day to check for sure. If i want to lower the car about 1 finger from the tyre will it start rubbing again? Those with the same wheel offsets and tyres sizes what do you have to propose? Below is a picture how the RGII's look on the car before altering the height.

Part of your problem is that a 245/40/18 tire is oversized diameter compared to stock. Next time get a 245/35 which is almost a perfect match to stock diameter and will give you slightly more clearance. If your performed a proper fender roll and relocated the bumper tab then you should be fine with either tire size.

Thank you for your reply. You are right about the tyres. Next set will be in the sizes you mentioned. About relocating the bumper tab i want to ask you how this could help. I did not have any rubbing in this tab but on the fender only. Will relocating the tab will help in the fender too?

My mistake. Just checked the car. Is also rubbing over there. My question....is it better to relocate the tab or just trim the plastic that the wheel is rubbing? It doesn't seem to be rubbing in the tab but just in the plastic of the rear bumber
