Another what size question
I searched but this is more a matter of opinion, and I need some opinion on my particular case. Need to know what size tire to order for my girls car.
Here is the case...
04 AP2 100% Daily highway driven. We use my car for Autocross.
Rear wheels are 18X9.5 +35 right now it has 265-35-18 tires on the rear, and we have to run nearly 5* of camber to make it not rub like crazy. The rear quarters modified, the whole lip on the inside has been cut off, and they are pulled out with Shine over fenders. As cool as the camber looks, for her driving the car 200 miles a week it just wears the tires too fast.
I see people on here all the time that run 9.5 +35 or more aggressive and they don't rub, so it must be the 265 tires. Basically here is what I want to do.
Run a smaller tire to not only get the rubbing to stop but also so we can run less camber. BUT, really don't want to run a super stretch.
So do we go with a 255-35 or a 245-35? Will the 245 stretch alot? Does anyone have pics of a 245-35 on a 9.5 rim?
I am asking the wrong fitment gods... What do I do?
