Default Another Work wheel offset/fitment question

Hi guys,

I'm currently chasing these old school Work VS wheels and would like your opinion on the fitment of these wheels.

The fronts are 17x8 (+47 offset) with 215/45R17 tyres, whereas the rears are 17X9 (+47 offset) with 245/40R17. I know its desirable to have a higher positive offset but I'm quite keen on these wheels. I am also contemplating a 2 inch drop and do you think simply rolling the guards would be adequate to clear these wheels?

Thanks in advance for you advice!
