Anyone think this is a problem
 

On MY04 I need new rear tires, however my front tires still have plenty of tread. You guys see any downsides or problems with running OEM sized Yokohoma AVS ES100's in the front and Toyo T1R/T1S tires in the back?

Also, compared to the OEM bridgestone tires that came with the car. Do the Toyo T1S and T1R tires last longer?

:nono: Not only should you not mismatch front and rear tire brands/models.......but the grip characteristics between ES100 (poor) and T1R (better) are not even close. You are much better off buying one more pair of ES100s for the rear. Then, when you wear ALL 4 down next time, go ahead and switch brands.

As for T1R longeavity compared to OEM, well the treadwear is DOUBLE so yes they should last alot longer (but grip less). OEM is 140 treadwear and T1R is 280.

BTW, I am about to order a full set of T1R as well. Looks like a nice balance between grip and longeavity. :thumbup:
