Default AP1 Tires

I just purchased an AP1 and I am looking for a good tire. The car is going to be my daily driver, so i want a tire that will last atleast 10k and still perform. I saw the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's. Are they the tire I am looking for? Please post your opinion.

If you are looking for the best handling tire and 10K is good then it is the best. If I can help with the tires let me know.

Yea I think I found the tires your were talking about. They are Dunlop Star Specs. I just purchased two for the front from tire rack. Hey Importedpower where are you located in Columbia? I just moved here a couple of weeks ago. Would either of you recommend the UK alignment? Do you know a good shop in Columbia that knows S2K's?

The UK spec is going to improve handling and help to wear the rear tires longer.

I am running stock AP1 sizes 205/55/16 in the front, and 225/50/16 in the rear.

Jim,

Did you mean that the rear tires will wear quicker?

With the Euro spec the rear should actually last longer. Now that all depends on how you drive the car but taking the toe in out of the rear helps on tread life for the rears.

Jim,

I have heard that the stock AP1 tire sizes are too small. Front 205/55/16, Rear 225/50/16. What should be the correct tire sizes?
