Thumbs up AP1 wheels on AP2

Have the option to pick up some AP1 wheels/tires for cheap.

Curious if these will work on my AP2, dropped on Espelir springs.

Here are the tire specs:

Front: 205/55 R 16
Rear: 225/50 R 16

Thanks for the help!

I think I read somewhere that they wont clear the AP2 brake calipers, but I could be mistaken.

Tons of AP2 owners use the AP1 wheels as cheap winter wheels.

I was just curious about the tires. The sticky with the tire fitment guide was confusing when it came to swapping AP1 wheels with non-OEM tires.

Anybody clear it up for me? Will they work?

S2000 HAVENS,

yes they will work fine... either way, the S2000's fender wells and fender linings are the same for both AP1's and AP2's.. if they obviously worked before on an AP1, they'll fit on an AP2... I don't understand your problem?

I'm sitting on Tein springs, giving me almost a 1.6" drop all the way around, with my stock AP2 ver1 wheels, and some Azenis RT619 tires, pushing a 255/40/17 on the rears... not a problem man... believe me.

When it works out, with the 16's and the sidewalls.. believe me, those narrow tires will be just fine.. no rubbing

promise...

besides, if they do... roll them fender son!! (about $25 per fender at a local shop)

Hope this answers your question.
