Default ap2 v2 quick question

Hey guys,

Just had a quick question on ap2 v2 wheels.

Purchasing some soon in order to fit some larger width tires to help put some traction on my turbo s2k. Had 2 questions..

1. Would 265 fit on a ap2 v2 wheel properly or should i stick with 255.

2. Im dropped on tein s springs, around 1-1 1/2 inch drop. Do I need to roll my fenders.

Thanks for your help.

265 is a little big for the wheel, but you can do it. I would stick with a 255.

With an 1 - 1.5 inch drop you will not have to roll fenders.

If I can help with the tires let me know. The 225/45R17 front and 255/40R17 would be your best set up. They fit the factory wheels fine.

For good traction, what tire do you recommend. The 255/40/17 sound good to me. I would like to keep the cost down. Just looking for a good tire under 150 each.

what area are you in? Dunlop direzza star specs have been given great reviews as a high performance summer tire and is priced well.

The RS3 is a little less expensive. Lower treadwear so the cost is probably the same over the life of the tire.

For 265 or 274-40-17, would I need to roll the fenders?

Also read that if you go higher than 255, that it wouldnt make much of a difference since the tire will bubble up due to it being 8.5, so basically not be able to get all the tire on the road plus look funny. Is this true?
