Ap2v1 tire size question

I just bought a set of ap2v1's from a friend yesterday with brand new tires. Only thing is they have 245/40/17 all around. I'm currently running 205/45, 245/40 on the 17x8 17x9 regas on stock highet.

My question are as follow:

1: will they make the car look funny since all the tires are the same?

2: how will the car perform differently?

3: Should I swap out the fronts for 225/45?

The car is a weekend car. It never sees track time but I do love spirited drives where I live once a month or so. I love how the car handles currently and want to make sure it won't ruin handling or anything else if I ran squared. I tried searching too but had no luck.

Any other mods to the car? Aftermarket front sway maybe? If not, the car will really be prone to oversteer. I would go with a 225/45 f 255/40 r setup if possible.

1. Not really
2. Oversteer w/o a diff front sway or having the rear sway removed
3. Yeah...and the rears along with it.

Nope the car is all stock. It's a ap1 if that matters. Sounds like I might be selling the tires then so I could properly run the correct size. Will the oversteer be very noticeable under normal driving?

Normal is relative

Depends on the tires...but all in all...I'd get back to being staggered. I take it you've got a 245 stuffed on a 7" rim? :faint:

Yup haha the previous owner put a 245 up front :/ but I do love the meaty look haha. If anyone else has input please do talk. I might just sell these in the end

Any other input?

If you like the brand/model of tire and they're appropriate for your wants/needs/usage, I'd just run 'em despite the front rims being 1" undersized for that tire.
Not ideal, but what in life is...

Seriously doubt you'll have any problems.
