Thumbs up Attention SSR Comp owners

I've been hesitating between a set of SSR comps and Volk ce28n's for a while now.

My dilemma is that I like the way the SSR's look better but prefer the wide variety of sizes and offsets that you get with Volk's.

What size and offset SSR Comp's are you all running? Where did you purchase them (I assume tirerack but I'd like to know if anyone got them elsewhere in order to get different sizes or offsets).

If you have the standard tirerack set up (8" front, 9" rears) how do you like them. Does your ride and/or handling seem affected in any way and if so is it an improvement or do you feel the car was more responsive on the stock rims?

Also, does anyone happen to know what the stock offsets are for the 04/05 rims? I've searched around but can't seem to find reliable info (time to pull out the owners manual I guess).

Oh and feel free to post pics if you want, I've searched and seen quite a few but maybe some of you haven't posted any yet. I've seen a lot of 18"pics but not so many 17" setups which is what I'm going for.

Thanks

I have some. Purchased from Tirerack and I love them. +48 front and +55 rear. Their weight, while awesome, isn't gonna be noticable really but it seems like with most rims people go with they actually make the car heavier which is really stupid IMHO. The handling seems better but I think it is more due to the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's 225 front and 255 rear then the rims.

I have posted these pics a bunch of times, but here they are again. I personally never get bored of looking at my car but I bet the rest of you do! LOL

Hey Luwin, how big is that board? I've fit my 7'6 egg and my shorty in the S but haven't dared to drive a round with my 9.0 longboard sticking out. That board in your pic seems pretty big... How big is it and what's it like driving around with that much board sticking out?
