Default best performance all seasons

alright so my azenis rt-615's are dead just like how reviews say they would after 9,000 miles. i've accepted the fact that i probably will not race my car, so i'm looking for some good performance all seasons. i do some pretty spirited driving but i'm willing to sacrifice a little bit of cornering ability for tread life and stability in wet conditions. i had some RE050A Pole Positions before, and they were great (tread life, wet/dry handling) and am considering buying them again. i got rid of them only because each tire had at least one plug in it from nails/screws/box cutter blades . i'm driving up to toronto from chicago in a couple weeks, so i need these asap, and dont have too much time to read reviews. i have rpf1's, 17x7.5 and 17x.9, and am lowered on pss9's. any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

-Ramsin

Are you planning to drive the car in snow? If not, why the desire to go for all seasons? Just get a good summer tire and call it a day. All seasons = good for nothing lol

The dws is the dry wet snow tire vs the dw's being their dry and wet tire. If your not planning on driving in the snow with the car I would highly recommend getting the dw's. I use the tire for my daily driving and for auto-x in the rain and they work absolutely amazing.

This. I purchased a set last summer and have not been disappointed at all. I got trapped in a snow storm in the Smoky Mountains this winter and the grip was unreal! Dry and wet performance are as impressive as the tread life I've gotten out of them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to another S2000 owner. After burning through summer tires and not tracking the car, it just became pointless to spend money on tires over and over when something like this is available.

I have heard good things about DWS. I didn't go with it because from the tread it seems like it's geared more towards snow and rain instead of dry ground. I went with Hankook V12 because of countless positive reviews about it.

Yje V12 is a lot better wet and dry but not an all season tire. The DWS gives you the cold weather traction. They are the best that we tested in the snow for a performance all season tire. I would not recommend this for the S2K daily driver in the snow belt. At that point put winter tires on the car.
If I can help witht he tires let me know.

One thing that's hard to overstate is a tires life cycle Hankook isn't there yet and the difference between say 10,000 and 20,000 miles Continental is head and shoulders over Hankook.
