Sorry, wait two weeks after purchase just to receive a claim form? Then wait six more weeks to receive an Amex card with a $100 balance? So, two months after I get my tires I'll get my money in the form of a card I don't want? No thanks!!!!

IMHO these rebates are designed to make it as difficult as possible for customers to get the promised money. Pile on the requirements. Drag out the time line. And most customers never see the money. This is one of the reasons I went with Star Specs a month ago rather than the Bridgestone RE11's. Dunlop didn't require any of this garbage in order to save $240 at time of purchase.

I agree with SpudRacer's frustration. Customers have to voice their opinions somehow, or else companies will never know. And I agree with the no RE-11 part. Sucks because I am indeed in the market for tires.

The frustrating part is that RE-11s do not qualify...

I did this before and I never used the credit. I discovered it the day or two after the card expired. There are no extensions.

They did include the RE-11 in a previous rebate. Unfortunately the rebates are the way the tire mfg's do things. They are not directly through the Tire Rack.
