Buying Tires within the next few days. Need help/info.
Ok my stock tires have gone off in the rear so I've ecided to just raplace them with some nice 18"s (all 4 of course)
I've got my mind set on the SSR GT3s I see on Tire Rack. I just have a few questions.
1. The rear tire recommendation is 245/35 18 for a 18x 9.5 rim. Will this tire have some meat to it? I mean will it look like I strecthed a rubberband around the rim? I don't really want that.
2. The only tires I see on the site for this rim are Dunlop SP Sport 9000. Is this a good tire? Doesn't Tire Rack carry other tires to fit these wheels? Just look for Different options and stickyness.
3. If I lower my car with KG/MM race springs (35mm drop) Will I have any problems?
4. For you So. California people, Does anybody else sell these wheels? Nothing against Tire Rack at all, I just look for deals. If I order them over the internet I'm going to be Paying an extra $200+ for tax and shipping plus shipping time. I don't mean to sound cheap I just like to find deals and pay cash. Maybe Jim can help me out there
Thanks guys.

We are the only source for these wheels. They are made by SSR for the Tire Rack. The tire size I would recommend would be 225/40R 8 front and 255/35R18 rear. Everybody makes these tires so you won't be limited to one choice. The 255/35R18 will also fit the wheel better.
When you order a tire and wheel package from me they are mounted and balanced, using the Hunter GPS9700 balance machine, with lugs and ready to go on the car.
We do not collect out of state sales tax on the order either. I can't believe you can find a better deal on the price.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you
