Can someone please double check my offset
I'm looking into special ordering some 17" wheels. The offsets I'm planning on going with I got based off of the wheel offset calculator utilizing Mugen MF10 offset as a reference. Heres what I came up with:
Front: 17x7.5 +52 Rear: 17x8.0 +53 I would like to run a 255 in the rear but I would be fine with a 245 also. I don't want to have to run -2 degrees camber in the rear anymore to keep from rubbing, tires wear out too fast. Thanks Matt |
255 is too Big for an 8". Its do-able but your Tire guy will cringe.
245-40 Rear 215-45 up front. 225 is do-bable up front, but you will rub if your dumped |
Cool thanks.
What offset for the front would you recommend to run a 225? |
imo you should be fine with a 225 on a 7.5+52. most people run 225 on the volks 7.5+50 and only a few have ever reported rubbing, all of which was corrected. and more than many have reported no rubbing.
but why a 8" rear? throw a 9" rear on it and a 255 |
I can't get them in a 9", I wish I could. I'd get the Volks if I could afford them.
