Default Correct offsets

Guys need some help here and appreciate any feedback from you guys.

Currently just changed to

front - 225/40/17 on Ce28s +35
rear - 255/40/17 on ce28s +65 or +63

Bodykit J's racing type S kit with front J's wide fender. Just to check if my set up, my front tires having so much lower offset than the rear pose a problem to my handling?

I am thinking of i should add a 20mm spacer to the rear to even up..

That's a very weird setup... Your fronts are way more aggressive then the rears effectively making it a wider overall track up front.

An 8" +35 sits the same as a 9"+47 with reference to the fender.

7.5" +50 and 9" +63 is the usual s2k setup.

Seems like you know this, but I don't think it'll pose a 'problem' to your handling unless you are tracking the car (i would imagine it would be worse). I would also guess it looks a little strange but it's your car.

Anyway, you could do a 20 mm spacer assuming you have overfenders? If not, you would probably need a roll. Also, do some research, a lot of people suggest staying away from spacers especially anything over 10-15 mm

Yes i feel that the offset difference is kinda too big. Was thinking of maybe adding a 15mm spacer to the rear to bring it nearer to stock offsets difference.

Will be tracking my car in future...so hope to get a optimal setup first before finding out for myself on the track.

Adding a spacer is going to lower the offset and take it away from the stock offsets. Once you add the 15mm spacer you could also have fender issues.

i mean since my front is already + 35, i intend to add a spacer to my rear which is currently +63, to make the difference between the front and rear smaller.

So currently F +35, R +63 .. rear + spacer maybe 20mm becomes F +35, R +43. Should be better right??

^That is better. You will need to roll the fenders and relocate the bumper tab. Make sure to get the kind with 64.1 bore and integrated studs so you do not have to replace your studs with extended ones. I think H&R makes one in 20mm size.

Just a few more questions.

Is running the rear wider than front better in terms of handling? Meaning having my rear rims with a lower offset than my front rims.
