Default Correct Tire Pressure

I am a new owner and am replacing my S0-2s tomorrow. I am purchasing Toyo Proxes T1-Ss in 205/55-16s, 245/45-16s on OEM wheels. Can someone recommend a proper tire pressure for decent grip and good tire life?

BTW, I searched and the consensus seamed to be that the correct pressure was different depending on tire choice and size.

Thanks in advance

I'm running 36 F 34 R on Toyo T1S. This seems to be the best pressure for mileage, treadwear, and handling. If I want the car to handle best I lower the pressure to 34F 32R.

Because I have a Comptech swaybar, I have 225/50/16 on the front. The tires seem to have just a little "softer" initial turn-in then the stock S02s, but in every other way they are equivalent or better than the S02's. I've got over 9000 miles on the tires and from the looks of the tread wear I have many more thousands to go. I used to get only 9000 miles out of set of rear S02s.

I have Toyo Proxes T1-S's mounted on aftermarket 17" wheels, and I contacted Toyo's customer relations by phone to obtain correct tire pressures for both road and track driving. Your tires will likely require different PSI's than the ones I have, but here are my numbers followed by info from the Toyo website:

These are for 17" wheels: front 215/45 street 35 track 38
rear 235/45 street 32 track 34

They are great tires in the wet, probably the BEST! Other tires work better in the dry on the track at racing speeds, however.

6. What Air Pressure do you recommend for my Toyo Tire?

Thanks guys...great info

I hope these tires are as good in the rain as I here...The S0-2s were really bad! We get lots of afternoon showers in Florida during the summer months and I don't want to break my new toy .
