Default difference between rota slips and sw388

if i showed you a set of 16" rota slipstreams in flatblack and told you that it's sw388, how can you tell if i'm BS'ing or not? in other words...what's the cosmetic difference between the authentic and replica?

Its very easy to tell if they are not Spoon wheels. You can check the back of the SW388s. They say "Made in Russia" if I can recall correctly the Rotas will not say that. Plus the finish is very easy to tell the difference. Plus the Spoon wheels will have a Desmond sticker on there too.

These wheels are made for Spoon by Regamaster and I just double checked and they are stamped "Made in Russia" on the back.

The Rotas are gloss finished, while the Spoons are flat black. Thats the easiest way to tell.

You can get rotas in flat black.. The old rotas had holes where the hub area of the rims were. They have now stopped making the holes and they look just like Desmonds without the stickers and engraving.

so the engraving and the stickers is the only way huh? i've never seen neither in person so i ask. and no, i'm not trying to get rotas and call it spoon. i was just curious because they look so identical unlike many other replicas.
