Do I need new hub barings?
I'm swapping out my rear wheel studs for extended ARP studs to go along with my 15mm spacers this weekend. My car is an 08 with only 22k miles. Do you guys think I will need new hub bearings. I realize its the best time to swap them for new ones, but I'm a bit short on the cash at the moment. My mechanic also said worse case scenario is new hubs as well!
All I want is extended studs installed. I don't want to have to pay for new bearings and hubs just to install 15mm spacers!
And thanks, but I don't want to get spacers with built in studs. I realize it would be A LOT cheaper and EASIER, but i've done enough research to know I will rub with 20mm spacers and barely be ok with 15mm spacers, so 20mm is not an option.
Thank you guys!

I think you can re-use the hubs but the bearings get damaged on the removal process. You can buy timken bearing from advance auto or auto zone. Good quality and cheap.
Edit: it looks like the hub's bearing mating surface gets damaged too. Also it's a real pain to remove the bearing race from the old hub. It requires a special tool. Might as well do the hubs too.
