Does it really matter between performance or style?
Quick help, looking at a wheel set of 18x8.5 and 18x9. If it looks good, does the average S2000 consumer care that it isn't a full inch in width difference between the front and rear wheels if the offset falls on the border lines for appropriate tire sizes?
It is common to have a setup as 18x8 and 18x9. Being that my set is 18x8.5 +44 (215 tires) and 18x9 +50 (255 tires), would you the S2000 owner perfer my set the same as to the common setup? |
I can't see a reason why anyone would care? Tire sizes are more important in terms of handling characteristics. What wheels are you looking at?

It really depends on what you're looking for and want from your car. You seem to be more looks oriented, so go with what looks good to you :)

idk I get more of the feeling he is only looking to buy something that he can resell to s2k owners and is trying to determine if people car about the amount of stagger.

Both  . I do own a S2000 and want the car to look as best as possible during my ownership. More-over though, looking for the resell value in both the wheels and even the vehicle its self. Mar48, I wish I knew your name. I appreciate your help a ton. You've been very respectful as I have read other threads with your thoughts and knowledge.

No problem, I try to help if I can, my name is Marcelo. Btw, did you make a decision on wheels? If so, which ones?
