I'm riding on 17x9.5 with 245 front and 255 on back with buddyclub suspension and I had to roll my fenders in order for them to not rub. Once rolled you should be good.

Enkei RPF1: FRONTS: 17x8 offset: 35mm -- w/ Hankook V12 tires: 235/45/17
Enkei RPF1: REARS: 17x9 offset: 35mm -- w/ Hankook V12 tires: 255/40/17

no you need higher offsets in order for them to work, other wise you'll need to do some fender mods.

Here is a picture of mine, 17x9.5 +38 with 255s x4:

I'll be honest...this setup isn't exactly for the faint of heart. You'll definitely have to do some massaging of your fenders, and A LOT of work up front. As previously mentioned, you can get 95% of the look just going 9j +45 all around, and just putting a 5mm spacer in the rear.

I dont get the point of 17x9.5+38 unless you need the extra width for track when a 17x9+45 wheel looks exactly the same.

right now with stock ap1 wheels im pretty low 2inches ill say and yes i would like to keep same height as of right now if possible

-3 camber all the way around. Front and rear fender roll, bumper tab relocated in rear, a decent 10mm pull up front and 245's, with 255 in back.

This.

This was one of my previous wheel/tire setups.
