what are the advantages of swapin in a f22 into a ap1
is it worth doing?

They are pretty close to equil so it would not be worth the money to switch out motors. There reason they built the f22 is because americans like torque. They like brute power and not finness. There is a reason the rest of the world still has a f20 in there s2000s (Ok 9000 reasons!)

Wrong forum, and 06 S2000's in Japan have the 2.2, not the 2.0.

Your profile says you have an 06. You should already have the 2.2L engine, so no benefit from swapping for you.

Hmm why in the wheel and tire forum?

Lets see both sets of OEM tires on the AP1 and AP2 have about the same contact patches. I'd give the S02 a slight advantage in dry grip and the RE050 an advantage in wet traction. Both great OEM tires. Is this a trick question???

all markets except the UK have the F22 for 06. the 06's in the Uk are still the mighty F20.

Actually the U.S., Canada, and Japan are the countries with the F22. Every other country that gets a s2000 gets the f20.
