Fender roll? Spacers on AP2 wheels

Hey all - just wanted some insight before I pull the trigger on spacers.

I understand 15mm is the smallest we can get with the built-in studs (I do not want to swap to longer studs to fit a 10mm etc.)

So I would love to do a 15mm x4 setup on my ap2 running ap2v2 wheels & 215 / 245 michelin pilot sport.

However, I am decently low (roughly 0 to .5 finger gap front and rear) - anyone know if this will fit without needing a roll? As I DO NOT want to roll.. maybe I'd have to raise slightly?

Any insight would be appreciated.

I hope you mean to say that you're using spacers with built in studs.

In other regards this setup will require a roll, especially if you're as low as you are. You'd end up around 215+40 and 245+50 which is getting pretty aggressive. I'm running 255+50 all around and required a fender roll with bumper tab relocation at the rear even with -3.0* camber. Even if I was 5 mm narrower I don't see myself clearing the bumper tabs very easily. At the front the most aggressive people usually can get away with is 215+45 and even then that's a bit of a squeeze too.

Yes that is what I mean lol.

From your reply, it sounds like a 5-10mm would be more appropriate on this setup. However, obviously I would need to do the extended wheel studs for this instead of the spacer with the built-in studs.

Otherwise - seems like the other option is raise the car an inch or so, or just don't do the spacers at all

On second thought 215+40/245+50 might clear but it's a grey area depending on height, tire, and camber. I think I had some of the numbers off in my head when I was typing the first response post. 215+40 is equivalent to 255+60 which is a semi common non stagger offset so you might be able to get away with it. 245+50 still looks really close by my eye ball when I look at my car and I think the rear bumper tab might still be an issue for it. But vaguely I remember people saying they've gotten away with 245+50 now. Either way you likely need to run at least -2.0* camber and probably closer to -3.0* camber optimally both front and back. This would be something I would try at your own risk but you might be able to get away with it.

You will need to roll them (or let the tire roll it for you?)

And be very careful on ingress/egress of driveways, with the wheels turned.

It sounds like you are pretty low. I wouldn’t risk not having the fronts rolled. The rears you can address with some camber but the fronts are always much bigger risk for actual damage from a tire catching.

I installed 20mm with OEM height. No need to roll and no rub.

Pics? IDK but IMO that would look comical with the amount of poke and wheel gap at stock height. I ran 255 +57 at stock height and IMO that was bad enough already.
