Default Going to a 255 on the rear

I'm going to a 255/35/18 on the rear of s2000. I ordered the rims and tires from tire rack and the next day a guy from there called me and was telling me that I need to get a fender lip roll in order for it to clear. However I put the fronts up to it which are 225/40/18 and it looked like it cleared ok. Is a fender lip roll nessecary for this?

What offset are your wheels? I have your chosen sizes on my '07 with +56 offset's with no issues. If I go lower I will need to run some additional negative camber, but no fender rolling.

Are you lowered any?

You can roll them yourself...................Check around for an Eastwood Fender Roller. If you cant find one, I know a place here in Colorado that will rent it to you and ship it.

No it's not lowered, its all stock. I'll probably call a few body shop's, since if I get caught working on anything in my garage again my apartments will evict me. ****ers

I just installed 255 rear tires with +63 offset and it just clears.
I don't think you'll make it with the +55 offset without rolling the fenders.

You might get away with it if your not lowered...........you could try that and if they rub slightly run a little bit extra camber in the rear. Then if they still rub roll the fenders.
