Default Goodyear tires

Has anyone had any experience with the following model in comparison to the stock tires ?

If I wanted to have a tire that has more grip for better handling even if the life was to go down with the following be a good choice ? Also I would prefer them not to bee too noisy.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Thanks,

If you haven't seen it the following would be good background info while you're waiting for user comments.

I had them on my 18's great traction and grip but thread life was low. my rear tires only lasted a year which was roughly 10,000 miles, I'm not a crazy driver either.

If you are an aggressive driver the 16" rear tire is 1/2" narrower than the stock S02 tire. They will be a lot better in the wet than the S02 but not as good in the dry.
If I can help let me know.
