Got $12K to spend on wheels?
i knew somebody would beat me to it.
awesome concept and proof of manufacturing ability. even for myself seeing aerospace applications of composites daily, i am still impressed by this.
i cant help thinking though that carbon fiber just might not be the best material for a wheel. no matter how strong it is, it is still brittle at failure and fairly sensitive to temperature (think brake disc heat...)
