Default Gram Lights 57DR help

Im budgeting for about $450/wheel. Dont really want to spend more than that but could if i found some more worth while wheels. Im only tracking the car a few times a year Im going to run my stock Ap2 wheels on the track for my first few times out. and as of right now want something that looks great. Im not so into the flush stance genre but I like the way these fit our cars. I have a Silverstone Ap2

I've done my searching . Seen others asking about 17x9 +38 and that they would require some unwanted work for proper fitment so...

Gram Lights 57DR - 18x10.5 / 5x114.3 / Offset+12 with a 5mm spacer in the rear? or if that is frowned upon what size setup in this wheel should I go with?

If i wanted to run this setup square what if any fender work will i need to do? tire size should I run? Not going super low or anything.
Im just planning on these being street wheels.

ps. i don't really like the RPF1 or other Enkie for that matter because everyone has them. For street use I'd like to be a bit different.

sincerely,
Noob

Another person that I cannot tell if you are trolling or just really that thick.

So you have searched and 17x9 +38 requires work that you don't want to do. So what on earth makes you think that a wheel that is 1.5 inches wider and has an offset that is 21mm lower would fit better? You need to go up in offset if you want less aggressive.

Im not so into the flush stance genre but I like the way these fit our cars.
What you are trying to run is a 10.5 inch wide wheel with a +7 offset. This isn't possible even on some of the most aggressive widebody kits available for this car. Even if you ran insanely stretched tires and 7 degrees of camber all the way around I don't think these would fit.

Looking at the sizes for this wheel really your best bet is the 17x9 +38. You would be cable to run a 245/40/17 tire all the way around with a roll, tab relo and a good alignment. If you want a 255 you will probably need to flare the front fenders quite a bit.

just took your recommendation and got the 17x9's from Evasive. Appreciate the insight, still learning.

Nice. Post pics I don't think I have seen those on an S. Also get your fenders rolled between now and when the wheels arrive that way you won't risk damaging your fenders.

We've got that same fitment on our FRS. I assume you bought a matte black set though?

I would have bought them from you guys but you didn't have them listed. I saw another S2k with gun blue and I liked the way the Semi gloss was with the my car color. In case i wanted to at some point in the future, do you happen to know if the 17x9 will allow for a BBK?

No worries, there is a lot of stuff out there that is in lower production numbers that we don't list, because it generally is only in stock for a little while, then special order only and takes 3 months or so.

On the FR-S, there is tons of room for a bbk on the 17x9 +38 - it's likely the same for the S2000.

So I call to make sure they were in stock then I placed my order with Evasive for the Semi Gloss black gram light 57DR. At that point I really just wanted black wheels. So I was stoked. I got a call later that day i think from them. Randy said he had actually sold them that morning even though he told me he had them. He wanted to sell me the Gun Blue and I didn't really think that would be to my liking. So i called back and went with the Work Emotion 11R 17x9 +38. He was cool and gave me them at the same price as the Gram Lights. saved me like $60+.

Wednesday I installed my Buddy Club N+ coil overs and Eibach front sway bar and installed the wheels/tires yesterday. Running square 245/40 Conti DW's. I did roll the rears, relocate the tabs and trimmed the front fender liner bent up the tab holes. Really this look is to taste. not everyone will like the bulge. But I do and thats all that matters.

Im just under 25" from fender lips to the ground. Im still playing with the dampers to get a better feel.

PS i got Blox red lugs with the wheels, DONT EVER BUY THEM. They're crap. they are falling apart after tightening/torque

Need more camber and it'll work just fine imo. Current alignment?
