Default Handling probs. from using same size tires?

So I'm thinking about getting winter tires.
4- 205/55/16 Dunlop M3s for my Ap1 wheels. I've heard that using the same tire sizes will cause an oversteering issues.

1.is this true?
2. will the 205 fit the rear OEM AP1 wheels? reccomended yes no?

1. It is true
2. No 205 won't fit well on rear

Go to Tire Rack's website or PM Jim there and see what they recommend for winter tires. There may be a size 215 or 225 that will fit on both front and rear rims, but the handling will suffer.
