Hankook RS4 PSI for Track & AutoX
 

I've seen a number of forum posts saying that good PSI for the RS4s are:
- 36-37 PSI hot on track (BMW forums)
- 30-34 PSI hot on track/autox, E36 BMW forums (sounds like a REALLY wide range for autoX :\)
- 28 PSI on Miata forums

To me, the BMW owners sound like people who don't know what they're talking about. I personally tried 30+ PSI on autocross this weekend and it was really no good at all. At end of day, I dropped pressures to 29.5 PSI and things got a bit better. I typically run 26-28 PSI on street for softer ride, but pumped up for autoX at the advice of others. Has anyone had an experience that confirms that 27 or 28 PSI is best? There's too much tire input from people who don't know what their grip limits are on the interwebs, and it'd be nice to get some feedback from people with real experience.
