Deciding between 17" Volk LE28N in gunmetal and 17" Advan RG in gold.

on this car (sebring silver):



Please help...i've seen the gunmetal le28n on a sebring and its pretty avg looking...i've never seen sebring on gold...any input is appreciated. Thanks

You're right the volks will look ok but kind of blah. And the gold on Sebring will not look good in my opinion, but paint them red and it will look hot. I have black rims waiting to go on and if I don't like them I'm going to go red (so I wouldn't mind a guinnea pig)

 

L8brakr is correct. I believe the selection of wheels that look tasteful and flow are few and far between for our color. I have been going back and forth on a wheel... I sold my ProDrive GC-06D's. I miss them already.

Color aside, they both look kind of same.... personally I'm not a big fan on gold rims though... did you consider Prodrive GC07C?? It comes in both silver & british black (gunmetal).... hope this helps.

 

Because they both have spokes? The look of those two rim choices, when viewed on the car, are definitely different looking.

 

im not a huge fan of the prodrives...im pretty much narrowed down at this point to either the le28n or the RG...or maybe even a te37... im just worried about the color...thanks though

 

btw, the LE28n has polished lip wit a gunmetal face(spokes). RG is just plain gold all over.

 

Id go with the volks. I do agree the Gunmetal would be a lil boaring, you should check out the new black finish they put out. Polished lip with the black spokes would look hot on Sebring.

Check out this post. Its with Volk SF Challenges (Hottest Wheel IMO) in Black with polished lip, but im 99% positive that I saw the Volk LE28N with the black finish somewhere. This should give you an idea of what the black finish should look like.
