If the other rear is getting close to half worn down or more, I'd get two new tires. T1R should be semi-OK, but there are better tires for the same or less $$$. T1R wasn't the class of the field in Max Perf Summer tires even in its day, and it is a quite old design by now. Ranked 8th out of 11 in a tire test by Car and Driver WAY back in 2005 CandD tire test. There are much better tires available.

Tire Rack Max and Extreme Perf Summer tires in 255/35-18

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs are going to give you the most grip per buck wet or dry. B'stone RE11's or Yoko AD08's will also perform extremely well for a few more $$$. If you want a bit more hydroplaning resistance, you could go with one of the top ranked of these: Max Perf Summer tires in 255/35-18

If there's somewhat more than half tread depth in the "good" rear tire remaining, I'd replace the bad one with a new Invo, then replace both when the more-worn one is getting close to the treadwear indicators..

For handling:
Toyo R1R > T1R
Nitto NT05 > Invo

This much is clear just from looking at the Toyo and Nitto websites. Between the R1R and NT05, I dunno...

Why fixated on those two brands?
