Default How many don't run hubcentric rings?

I've got Volk TA's in TE37s 18x7.5 +48(Fronts) 18x8.5 +50(Rears)

Currently 225/40/18 Front and 245/35/18 Rears

I am also lowered on Swift Springs Sport Mach something like 0.8in front and 1.0in rear.

But I don't have hubcentric rings, some say it is not needed. Anyone else not running hubcentric rings on their aftermarket wheels?

I was told hubcentric rings help reduce vibration by centering the wheel and if I am not too mistaken I have a very slight vibration at speeds above 75MPH. Anyone comments?

ive never had any problems with any of my wheels after 5 years. the problem with vibration comes from people not torquing the lug nuts properly or not using the correct lugs.

vibration like what your having is more likely caused by improper wheel balancing. does it disapper when going faster than 80mph? if so you need to bring your wheels to get rebalanced.

I've had the car aligned and balanced through BigBrand, I think I may be experiencing a placebo because of the lowered ride height and larger diameter wheels which makes the ride more rough.

No problem here on the Works I run. Just picked up a new set of Volks and they came with them. So I guess I'll be using them.

If the hub bore is not identical you risk loading the studs (PITA to fix) or far worse, setting up some loads on that hub flange that fails...

I use them on all my wheels.

They're cheap, something like 10-20 bucks a set for a piece of mind.

All depends on what kinda lugs your rims take... if they are "lug centric" Than the rim will center because of the taper on the lugs, which would make hub rings redundant.

If your wheel / backseat vibrates your rims are not balanced properly.

Those style nuts keep the rim centered around the hub, but the load is not spread.

Anyone know a site where I can purchase Volk hubcentric rings for TE37s for the S2K?
