I've got a set of rims for sale that I might be shipping.

I used 2 peices of carboard for the face of the rims and than I wrapped the whole wheel around with packaging shrink wrap. Did the job fine and the rims got there without a scratch.

Tirerack has a good description: http://www.tirerack.com/about/return_tires_wheels.jsp

I have shipped and received a few sets of wheels. Usually packaged like tirerack shows, you can band or strap 2 wheels together, side-by-side. That gives you 2 packages to ship instead of 4 and saves some money.

Thanks for the responses! Decided not to ship. Packaging and shipping them is a PITA!
